 KSARDA trains it's K9s anywhere
from once a week, to as many times as 3-4x a week recently, in various areas such as wilderness,
water, and disaster training. On Oct. 30th, KSARDA held one of it's weekly wilderness trainings
on an 80 acre tract of property.

| The team had 13 K9 Handlers and Foot Searchers and 11 K9s attend
the training. We also had 3 victims assisting the team who are interested in becoming new members
when we begin to accept new applicants again in 2005.

| The dogs all searched well and after training,
many of them got to enjoy some free "play time" which they enjoyed as an additional "reward" for
finding all of the "lost victims"! The team received a generous donation of a new tent for our IC
command on searches, so the members help to set it up prior to training. This will help keep our IC
and radios out of the inclement elements on searches.
